Contact for Concerns

Request for Certificates

If you need a certificate, you can obtain it in the    following ways:

Insurance Declaration Pages

We will send you the declaration pages of your insurance once the insurance company provides them to us. We recommend that you read them carefully, as they contain the specifications of your insurance.

Monthly Payment

You can make your monthly payment through the finance company’s website or by contacting our staff.

Policy Cancellation

If you do not make payments to the finance company in a timely manner, your policy will be cancelled, and the company will charge you 25% of the minimum earned.

Information Update

Omitting or failing to list trucks and/or drivers on your policy may result in cancellation of your policy. We urge you to inform us immediately of any changes or developments in your business so that we can notify the insurance company.

Add a Truck

When adding a truck, you must make an initial payment proportional to the time in force on the policy, and the monthly payments will be adjusted to the remaining period of the policy.

Add a Driver

The cost of adding a driver to your policy will depend on the rates set by the insurance company and the driver’s driving record and experience.

Truck Withdrawal

Before withdrawing a truck from your policy, you must provide proof of the reason for the withdrawal (in accordance with Section 43 of the Transportation Management Code).

If you withdraw a truck from your policy, finance companies usually take approximately 90 days to make adjustments to the balance and monthly payments.

Property Damage Coverage (PD)

Property damage (PD) coverage will be calculated based on the market value of the vehicle as determined by adjusters and the blue book.

What to do in the event of a claim?

At trust4wise Insurance Agency we are committed to providing you with an efficient response when you need it. Timely notification of accidents is an important step in protecting your investment and ensuring that you are covered for unexpected situations; therefore, the insurance company should be notified of any event as soon as possible.

Importance of the Information in your Policy Keep in mind that insurance companies will rely on the truck and driver information listed on your policy. In the event of a claim with an unidentified truck or driver, the company may choose not to cover the incident.

Importance of Early Notification of Accidents

It is critical for our clients to understand that all accidents, regardless of fault or extent of damage, must be reported to the insurance company in accordance with the terms of the policy. Timely notification is a crucial step in keeping your coverage in force and ensuring an efficient response to unforeseen situations.

You should not wait for a police report to be issued before notifying the company of an accident. It is essential that you report any incident related to your policy without delay. The key reasons for reporting accidents immediately are:

  1. Policy Compliance: Most policies require that accidents be reported within a certain time frame. Failure to do so may affect your ability to file a claim.
  2. Policy Risk: Late notification, i.e., after 10 days, may jeopardize the status of your policy. This could result in a cancellation of your policy or an increase in premium.
  3. Impact on Renewal: Late notification can also impact your renewal options. A history of late notices could cause insurance companies to consider you a high-risk customer and therefore not offer you a proposal or make the proposal too costly.

The Insured’s Liability for Loss Mitigation and the Agent’s Role in the Claims Process

We want our clients to have a clear understanding of their role in the claims process and how we work together to ensure an efficient response in the event of a loss. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

Insured’s Liability: Mitigation of Losses

As the insured, you have a responsibility to take steps to mitigate damage in the event of a loss. This means you must take reasonable actions to minimize the amount of loss. The sooner you take action to prevent further loss, the better the protection for you and your policy.

Crucial Information to Collect in the Event of a Claim

In order to make sure we provide you with the best assistance, it is important to collect certain key information at the time of an accident. Here are the details we need about the accident:

  • Keeping Calm

In any situation, calm is your best ally. Keep your composure and avoid unnecessary confrontations.

  • Location

Indicate the exact location where the accident occurred, including address and any relevant references.

  • Driver´s Full Name

Provide the full name of the driver involved in the accident. This is essential to identify the person responsible.

  • Obtaining Other People’s Insurance Information

Be sure to obtain the insurance details of the other persons involved, including the name of the insurance company and the policy number.

  • Taking Pictures and Videos

Capture images of the incident, including damage to vehicles and any other relevant evidence. Photos and videos can be essential to support your claim.

  • Check for Witnesses

If there are witnesses to the accident, obtain their contact information. Witness testimonies can be valuable in supporting your claim.

  • Request Police Report

In case of a traffic accident, request a police report. This document can provide factual information and is important for the claim process.

  • Date and Time

Provide the exact date and time the accident occurred. This detail is essential for a correct evaluation.

  • Truck and Trailer Information

Detail truck and trailer information, including license plate number, make, model, year and any unique identification.

  • ¿Was It Loaded?

Indicates whether the vehicle was loaded at the time of the accident. This information is relevant to assess the severity of the incident.

  • ¿ Was there Cargo Damage?

If there was damage to the cargo, please describe it in detail. This is essential to determine the extent of the damage.
